These terms govern the SMS text messaging program operated by Benitez Dental Center, a dental practice located at 401 Coral Way, Suite 300, Coral Gables, Florida 33134, telephone (786) 442-2122.
When you opt in, Benitez Dental Center may send you SMS text messages relating to your dental care and our services. These include appointment requests and confirmations, appointment reminders, follow-up messages after a visit, responses to inquiries you send us, and occasional practice updates and offers such as our new patient visit and VIP membership plan.
There is one way to opt in to our text messaging program online: by submitting your mobile number through the chat widget on this website. When you open the chat, enter your name and mobile number and send us a message, you are consenting to receive SMS text messages from Benitez Dental Center at that number.
The consent language presented at opt-in reads:
“By submitting your information through our chat, you agree to receive SMS text messages from Benitez Dental Center at the mobile number provided, including appointment reminders, confirmations and occasional practice updates and offers. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of receiving dental care. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of receiving dental care. You can schedule and receive treatment without agreeing to receive text messages — simply call the practice at (786) 442-2122 instead.
We do not add numbers to our messaging program from purchased lists, third-party sources, or any other website.
Message frequency varies and depends on your interactions with our practice — for example, how many appointments you schedule and whether you reply to our messages. You will typically receive messages only in connection with an inquiry you made or an appointment you have.
Message and data rates may apply. Benitez Dental Center does not charge for the text messages we send, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data charges apply according to your plan.
You may cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further text messages from us unless you opt in again. You may also opt out by calling us at (786) 442-2122 or by telling any member of our staff.
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact the practice directly at (786) 442-2122 during office hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time.
Our messaging program is supported by major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS and their affiliates. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is outside our control.
Your mobile number and your consent are used only by Benitez Dental Center to contact you. No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with the messaging service providers that deliver messages on our behalf. Text messaging is not a secure channel. We keep the clinical detail in our messages to a minimum and ask that you do not send sensitive medical information by text. For anything clinical, please call the practice.
